Changelog

What has shipped, newest first. Fixes are listed as plainly as features, because a list of only additions would be half the story.

Added

A changelog, and a board for what to build next

This page, and /requests, where you can ask for something and vote on what other people have asked for. The board is a pipeline, so you can see what is open, what is planned, what is being built right now and what has shipped. Requests are public and the people who file them are not: the board shows the idea and the count, never who wanted it.

Added

Email about the product, if you want it

A switch in Settings, and an optional ask at the end of signing up. It was one of the four consents the privacy page has always named and the only one no screen could actually set, so nobody had ever been asked. Off unless you press it.

Fixed

A day you did not log is no longer a day you failed

For anything you type in yourself, like protein, an unrecorded day used to count against your Health Uptime exactly like a missed one. It now leaves the sum entirely. Readings a device writes are unchanged: a night with no sleep row still counts, because the strap was there.

Fixed

Health Uptime stops publishing a number the month cannot support

Early in a month there are too few readings to compare against your baseline, and a handful of goal periods was being promoted to the entire score. One missed day could read as zero. A month now needs enough behind it before it gets a number, and the dashboard says which month it is still counting.

Added

Friends actually work

You can send a friend request, accept one, decline it, or withdraw it, and there is a Friends page in your dashboard. Friends has been an option on every privacy control since the beginning and nothing in the product could accept anybody, so choosing it meant publishing to nobody. If you set something to friends before today, it is worth a look.

Changed

A friends-only profile can be found by other members

Your handle now resolves to your name and an Add friend button for people who are signed in, so somebody can actually ask. Your readings, goals and the rest of the profile stay closed until you accept them. Signed-out visitors and search engines still get nothing.

Changed

Connecting a device is optional, and the signup says so

The connect step now states plainly that nothing here needs a strap or a ring, and the button now reads Continue without a device rather than Skip for now. Logging by hand is a supported way to use this, not a thing you are skipping.

Changed

WHOOP is open to a hundred members

WHOOP approved the app, so the ten-seat limit is gone and there is no queue. Oura still allows an unapproved app ten connections and that review is open, so Oura can still fill up.

Changed

Share cards read as numbers first

The card a workout or a week posts to X leads with the figures in their own typefaces, and stops printing the same number twice.

Added

The whole product, one keystroke away

A command palette. Press it anywhere and jump to any page you can reach.

Changed

The feed is a members' room

Posts are for people who have signed in, and the feed stops asking on every read who may see each one.

Changed

Health Uptime, explained in the first person

The monthly score got its real name and a page that explains the formula rather than asking you to trust it. Your birth date is stored behind the counter and only an age is ever handed out.

Added

Groups, goals with a page of their own, and a weekly recap

Crews of up to ten with a stated data contract, goals you can edit without walking back through signup, and a Monday readout of the group's week as averages. Never a ranking of who slept best.

Added

Healthy Shippers opened

Profiles at the root of the site, WHOOP and Oura syncing, a daily log, lifting, blood work, and a community that is people rather than a feed algorithm.
